A Guided Tea Ritual to Pause Intentionally
August 14th | 8 to 9 PM
In the Yoruba tradition, Asé is the life force - the power to make things happen through intention, word, and action. It is often spoken as an affirmation and translates to amen, 'so it is,' or 'may it be so', recognizing the power to bring intention into reality.
Asé is an intimate tea ritual that uses tea as a practice of presence, inviting you to slow down, reconnect, and move forward with intention.
Guided by tea ritualist LaTonia Cokely, each experience includes:
- a guided three-cup tea ritual, immersive sound
- intentional reflection
- nourishing nibbles
- immersive sound + vibes
While every gathering follows the same ritual, the sound experience evolves through thoughtfully curated soundscapes and occasional collaborations with musicians, sound practitioners, and artists. This month, we are blessed with sound bowl healing from Jenn Roberts.
NOTE: We will be seated on floor cushions for this experience.
This isn't a tea tasting. It's a ritual. Join us!
