Each tea blend is handmade and blended in small batches to ensure the freshest, highest quality products upon delivery. To honor this unique process, you can expect your item to ship within 5 business days (not including weekends). Please allow additional days in transit for delivery. During the holiday season, the shipping times may be delayed. If there will be a delay in processing your order, we will contact you via the email provided at checkout.
The shipping and handling cost for your order is based on the total weight of the order. We offer shipping through USPS First Class Mail, USPS Priority Mail, USPS Priority Mail Express, UPS Ground. All orders over $75 are eligible for Free Standard Shipping.
All orders shipped within the Contiguous US are shipped via UPS Ground or USPS unless otherwise specified. UPS does not ship to P.O. boxes so a street address is required in order to ship a package via this method. A UPS tracking number will be emailed to you upon the shipment of your order.
Please note that USPS is currently experiencing minor delays in shipping due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.
You will receive a Shipment Confirmation email once your order has shipped containing your tracking number.
Adjourn Teahouse will ship based on the method you select from the available options. The estimated time of the arrival of your product should be considered as an estimate only, and Adjourn Teahouse will not be responsible for any damages due to delays in shipping. Charges for shipping will be listed when you purchase the product from this webpage. You are responsible for all federal and provincial shipping-related taxes, and you agree to comply with all export laws of the United States that apply to the products purchased or received under this Agreement.
Adjourn Teahouse uses a third-party shipping service provider to ship its products. As such, Adjourn Teahouse will not be liable for any loss, damages (direct or indirect), or expense due to shipping. Title and risk of loss shall pass to you at the moment the product that you have purchased is transferred to the third-party shipping service provider. Adjourn Teahouse is not responsible for packages that are undeliverable due to wrong addresses, missing information, or not having someone present to receive packages. If there is a suite number, apartment number, or building number, please be sure to include that on your order.
UPS has permission to leave packages at the recipient’s address if no one is there to sign for them; however, UPS drivers may also leave a UPS notice for a 2nd or 3rd delivery attempt at their discretion. Adjourn Teahouse is not responsible for packages stolen or damaged after they are delivered to the address specified by the customer. We highly recommend that someone be home to accept the package or that it is shipped to a workplace or office address when possible.
If you select "Signature Required for Delivery", your package will not be delivered unless it is signed for. If no one is present, UPS will make two more attempts before they return the package to us.
If your order is undeliverable and returned to us, you will be issued a store credit for your order, minus the shipping cost. If you wish to send the same items again, a new order is required. You may also need to provide an alternate shipping address, as UPS may flag the undeliverable address on all future deliveries.
