The Slow Pour is Adjourn's signature tea tasting and tea blending event.

At the Slow Pour, you will experience a founder-led tea tasting at Adjourn Studio, inviting you to nestle into your own moment of luxury. You will discover Adjourning, our multi-sensory ritual, while sampling our hand blended teas and small bites.

LaTonia, our founder, will guide you as you play and wander around beautiful herbs, teas and flowers in curating your own blend, followed by a sacred naming ceremony.

Each experience is an intimate love practice, tailored to call on your creativity. We invite you to come with curiosity and love as you embrace The Slow Pour. This month's dates are below:

  • Mama’s Slow Pour: Sun. May 11th 3-5 PM
  • People’s Pour: Fri. May 16th 6-8 pm (SLIDING SCALE PAY OPTIONS)
  • OutKast + Oolong: Fri. May 15th 6-8 pm with LIVE DJ

ABOUT THE PEOPLE'S POUR: 

The People’s Pour is a sliding-scale event because we believe rest, community, and intentional pause should be accessible to all. Whether you need to pay a little less or can give a little extra, you’re welcome here.

Tickets are offered at three rates: $25 (Community Rate, for those needing a little price relief), $50 (Standard Rate, which covers your seat), and $65 (Sustainer Rate, which adds a donation to help keep Adjourn Studio thriving). Every dollar flows back into the space, the tea, and the community we’re building together.

"A Must-Experience Gem in Maryland"

The Slow Pour at Adjourn Studio is a truly special experience. The space itself feels calming and welcoming, and the event invites you to slow down and be fully present.

LaTonia, the founder, led us with such warmth and intention. Learning about her journey added a beautiful depth to the experience. The opening meditation set the perfect tone, and the personalized tea blending made it feel both creative and meaningful.

My friend and I shared so many memorable moments — from laughter to deep reflection — and made genuine connections. If you're in Maryland, I highly recommend adding The Slow Pour to your plans. It's an intimate, uplifting experience you won’t forget.
