Introducing Rhapsody, a captivating blend created in honor of Rhapsody in Harlem, the new book by my dear Soror and esteemed author, Victoria Christopher Murray. It was my distinct honor to curate this blend for the launch at the Kennedy Center, a celebration of both her literary genius and the enduring legacy of the Harlem Renaissance.
Rhapsody is a vibrant and dynamic tea blend, a modern rendition of a soulful lemonade, designed to evoke the spirit and beauty of Harlem’s artistic and cultural golden age. This unique blend features luscious strawberry and mango, paired with jasmine green tea and the light, refreshing flavor of green rooibos. Calendula, lemon peel, and a touch of rock sugar bring a zesty brightness to the mix, creating a perfect balance of sweet and tangy.
As a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., this blend also pays homage to the beauty, history, and sisterhood of our beloved organization. Just as DST and the Harlem Renaissance was a time of bold creativity and cultural pride, Rhapsody celebrates that same spirit of strength, unity, and artistic expression.
